Today is Day 1

Wellness:

UBU meets today in the Wellness Cantre, all are welcome.

One of the Calm Carrys has not been returned to the Wellness Centre. Please check your lockers and see if it has found a new home, if so, please return it to Wellness Centre. 

No questions asked, we all forget from time to time.

Go ENG Girl is designed for girls and non-binary youth in Grades 7–12 and introduces them to the world of engineering through hands-on, engaging activities led by UNB students and professionals. This is a full day event November 15th. Any interested students please see Ms. Young in the Wellness Center.

Art:

The Art Room will only be open for Grade 8 students who are working on Visual Journal Entries or Clay Projects during 2nd half of lunch this week.

Music:

There is Beginner Band after school today. It is the last practice before your concert next Wednesday.  Please be there! It will end at 4:15pm.

All members of the Singing Club and Senior Band are reminded to go to the gym after lunch.

Sports:

Congratulations to our Badminton Team on a great competition yesterday. The following players placed first: Ellianna R- Girls Singles, Ellianna R and Hannah L- Girls Doubles, Hannah L and Karl L – Mix Doubles, Eden and Connor grade 7 Boys Double. Thank you to everyone for a great season! 

No open gym tomorrow morning.

Reminder to all soccer players to please return your washed jerseys to Ms. Hannam by the end of the week.

Intramurals: Dodgeball team lists and fees are due tomorrow.

Other:

In leading up to Remembrance Day, we will have students reading biographies and sharing other facts about the wars that our proud Canadians fought in to earn and maintain our freedom. Today, we welcome …

We have a tray of poppies in the office. If any staff or students would like to have one, you may drop a donation into the collection box. We are hoping that everyone wears a poppy on Friday for our school Remembrance Day ceremony. Staff and students are also encouraged to wear red on Friday.

Daily Affirmation – I am free to make my own choices

PRIDE Passes – A grade 6 student was respectful and a grade 7 student donated his dance ticket to a student who didn’t have one.
