They were very impressed with your manners and your patience. Well done Cougars, the staff are proud of you as well! Tech: Tech room will only be open for Grade 6 students who have Tech assignments to complete. Closed to grade 7 and 8. Music: There is practice today for Beginner Band after school. Rehearsal ends at 4:15pm. There is a band prep today in Period 3 for Senior Band members. Please request permission before going to the Music room. Wellness: UBU meets today in the Wellness Centre, all are welcome during the second half of lunch. Art & Poster Club – if you are working on a submission for the ‘Holiday Card Design Contest’, the deadline for entries is this today. Please deliver your artwork AND signed permission form to Mrs. Stoddart by end of the day. During the 2nd half of lunch, the art room will only be open for Grade 8 students working on clay and portrait projects. Sports: Today, the Varsity Boys basketball team have their first practice after school. The list for the Varsity Girls basketball team is outside the gym. Your first practice will be next Wednesday after school. Sign up sheets for the JV Boys basketball team will be posted today. Tryouts will be next Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 – 6. Please make sure you have signed up before attending the tryouts. Ski Club – There are only 2 spots remaining! If you have your signed paperwork please pass it in ASAP! Dodgeball Intramurals – Today, Hit and Misses vs The Dream Team. Ballistic Ballers vs the Underdogs. 25¢ to watch. After today, no games until Tuesday. Leadership: Leadership meeting today at 11:50 in room 111. Please bring your lunch. Lots of planning to do! Other: Daily Affirmation – I matter PRIDE Passes – A grade 8 student swept the class without being asked and a grade 6 student caught up on missed work. Holiday Turkey Dinner – It’s that time of year when we start thinking about delicious turkey dinners and the cafeteria staff will once again be preparing a full turkey dinner on December 10th. Tickets are now on sale through the regular cafeteria ordering site for the restaurant style meal served by staff in a candlelit setting. The meal must be pre-ordered online before Tuesday, December 2nd, cost is $8.50 Chris Saunders Elementary is looking for middle school student volunteers to help lead games and activities at their annual CSMES Holiday Yule Event.
