A few words about the Turkey Drive on Wednesday. Earlier this month, QMS donated $6000 to the KV Firefighters to assist local families during the holidays. These funds were collected during last year’s annual ‘Turkey Drive’ event. Each class has planned an activity and for 90 minutes on Wednesday afternoon, the halls and classes of QMS will be turned into a carnival-like environment. Activities range in price from 25 cents to $3. Students are encouraged to bring change (quarters, loonies, toonies) and small bills ($5 and $10) for use / donation. Bring enough money to play several games, we would love to beat last year’s record of $6000!!! Come have fun and support families in our community who need our help. We will also have a number of free options and ‘quiet activities’ for students.
