Announcements – Tuesday, January 6th Posted on January 7, 2026 Announcements for Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 Today is Day 4 Wellness: There will be UBU today and Thursday during the 2nd half of lunch. Everyone is welcome. Music: There will NOT be Singing Club today after school. Singing Club will start next week. However, there will be Senior Band tomorrow (ends at 4:30) and Beginner Band on Thursday. Sports: Basketball – In basketball action today, the Varsity Girls host HMMS at 4pm and the JV Girls travel to SMS. Good luck to both teams! Following the Varsity Girls game, the JV Boys will practice. Reminder for anyone interested in helping keep score during our home basketball games to please sign up outside the gym or see Ms. Hannam. In basketball action tomorrow, the JV Boys begin their season when they travel to SMS for a 4pm game. Good luck team! Also tomorrow, the JV Girls will practice 3 – 4:30 followed by the Varsity Boys practice 4:30 – 6. A sign-up sheet will be posted later today for all students wishing to try out for the development basketball team. Not sure what a development team is, see Mr. Melanson for more information. The first tryout will be this Friday, 3 – 4:30pm. Intramurals – There will be a meeting on Thursday, second half of lunch, in the gym for all students interested in participating in a 3 on 3 intramural basketball tournament. Ski / Snowboard Club: There will be a meeting for all members of the Ski / Snowboard club on Wed at 12:10 in the cafeteria. All members must attend. Other: Daily Affirmation – I have inner strength PRIDE Passes – A grade 8 student was helpful and tidied up the class. A grade 7 student was engaged and on task during Tech class.
