Tech: The Tech Lab will be closed at lunch this week. BIM: The BIM room will be closed today (for both halves of lunch) unless you have a previously scheduled appointment with Ms. Cymbaluk. Music: Attention Beginner Band, you have Band prep during period one today. Please ask permission before going to the music room. Beginner Band, you also have practice after school today, and yes, you will be putting Star Wars together! This announcement is for Senior Band, please pop into the music room today or tomorrow to get the first info sheet about band camp. Wellness: UBU will meet in the Wellness Centre at lunch, everyone is welcome. Sports: Varsity Girls volleyball will practice today, all practices run from right after school until 4:30. Varsity Boys volleyball will have their final tryout today 4:30 – 6. If you have signed up and have not attended other tryouts, you must attend today. Reminder to Varsity and JV Girls basketball teams that your uniforms are due now. Ms Hannam is missing uniforms from the following JV players: Charlee I, Eila B, Keira P, Raylin S, Marley M and Wren C. If you think you have already turned your uniform in and your name has been announced in error, please see Ms. Hannam to confirm. Other: We’re excited to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to QMS, running from Monday, March 30th to Wednesday, April 1st! There will be hundreds of amazing books for you to explore and choose from. Homeroom teachers will be distributing Book Fair flyers and giving you a sneak peek at some of the great titles that will be available. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair, purchase books, and enter into draws for a chance to win prizes. The countdown to the Book Fair is on, hope to see you there! We are only a few days away from the launch of QMS Reads! On Tuesday at a special assembly, the author and the titles of the books will be revealed.
