Art: Any Grade 8 students who had Plasticine work that was in the display case, AND portrait projects or visual journal entries that were on display on the bulletin boards, you are invited to pick up your artwork in the front foyer today at lunch. The art room is open today for Gr. 6 students who are finishing projects. Music: There is a band prep today in period 4 for Senior Band. Please get permission from your teacher before coming to the Music Room. Senior Band, you also have practice after school today until 4:30pm. Attention grade six students: For music class next week you need a pencil or pen, and a Hilroy style notebook or a duotang with paper. Ms. Rattray is looking forward to seeing you next week! Sports: Varsity Girls Volleyball team will practice today after school until 4:30 pm. Varsity Boys Volleyball team will practice tomorrow at 4:30 pm. The school Heritage Fair is taking place in the cafeteria tomorrow, all classes will eat lunch in their homerooms and will have their hot lunches ready for pick up on trays. There is a sign-up sheet on the back of the door by the photocopier in the office for any teachers who would like to bring their classes down to the cafeteria tomorrow afternoon to see the Heritage Fair projects. Students can bring a pencil so they can cast a vote on their favourite project. The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to QMS next week, running from Monday, March 30th to Wednesday, April 1st! There will be lots of amazing books for you to choose from. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair, purchase books, and enter draws for a chance to win prizes.
