This will replace our usual Thursday after school practice. Please bring your practice records to band prep tomorrow. Sports: Congratulations to the VB basketball team on a very successful weekend at the Middle School Provincial Championships. The boys are proud to bring home the bronze medal! A huge congratulations to Colby, Jayden, Emmanuel and Jax who were named Most Valuable Players, and to Nathan, Wyatt and Carson, who earned the Hustler Awards. The entire team gave their all, playing with grit and determination. Great job, everyone on not only the bronze medal but also an overall great season! Today, the JVG volleyball team will have their first tryout at 4:30pm. Please ensure you have signed up prior to attending. Tomorrow, the VB Volleyball team plays their first game as they host RPS at 4pm. Score keepers are needed for this game so if you can help out, please see Ms. Hannam. A sign-up sheet for future games being played at QMS has been posted outside of the gym. Following the VB game, the JVG will have a second tryout. An important message for all VB Volleyball players – please meet Ms. Hannam in the gym at the start of lunch to receive your uniforms. All classes will have the opportunity to attend. The book fair will accept cash and debit, making payment easy for everyone. Plus, every student who visits will have the chance to enter their name into a draw for some great prizes! Here’s a fun bonus: for every $10 you spend at the book fair, you’ll receive one ballot for a chance to guess how many Easter eggs are in the jar. Spend $20, get two ballots—and so on! The student who guesses closest will win the entire jar of Easter eggs. We can’t tell you how many are in the jar, but let’s just say there are plenty to share with your friends, family, and neighbours.
