Day 3

Art: Calling all Artists…  If you would like to have your artwork included in the Year-End Talent Show, please take your creative work to the art room today during the 2nd half of lunch to get it photographed by Mrs. Stoddart.  It can be artwork you have created at school or at home, and can be any medium.

Tech: Toady and until the end of next week, the computers in the Tech Lab are reserved for grade 8 students who need to finish their Tech assignments. The room is still open for others during the second half of lunch but computers are for grade 8 work only.

Music: Today is the first day of talent show auditions. Mrs. Roberts will be in the Music room for auditions. Please wait outside of the music room until you are invited in.

Attention all Senior Band, Beginner Band and Singing Club students – your elementary music tour starts on Monday afternoon at Chris Saunders. If your instrument is at home, please bring it on Monday. If you still need a permission form, you can stop by the Music room and Ms. Dunbar who is in for Ms. Rattray today will get you a form.

If you were part of the QMS Reads Songwriting Project please also stop by the Music room to get information about the recording next week.

Athletics: Track and Field – Huge Cougar Pride shout out to ALL track and field athletes for your participation and excellent behavior while at the meet yesterday. Parents and staff both commented on how great our student-athletes represented QMS, great job all and thank you!! Official results have yet to be sent but there were many podium finishes and lots of sportsmanship displayed – a great day all around.

A reminder to both flag football and track athletes to return your jerseys to Ms. Hannam ASAP.

A reminder that all softball jerseys are due today as per home contact. If you have not yet returned it, please do so by Monday.

Chris Saunders Elementary School is hosting their Annual Kick Off to Summer Event on Thursday, June 11th. The committee is looking for student volunteers to help with games and activities. Volunteers will be needed from 5-7:45 pm on Thursday, June 11th.
