This contest promotes post-secondary and career exploration. Congratulations Emmanuel! Art: Calling all artists! This is your last chance to submit artwork for the June Talent Show! Please take your creative work to the art room during 2nd half of lunch this week to get it photographed by Mrs. Stoddart. Tech: Again this week, the computers in the Tech Lab are reserved for grade 8 students who need to finish their Tech assignments. The room is still open for others during the second half of lunch but computers are for grade 8 work only. Music: This is a reminder to all Senior Band, Beginner Band and Singing Club of the concert at Chris Saunders this afternoon. Please be in the music room at the 12:10 bell to help walk gear over to Chris Saunders. Attention Talent Show auditioners today – please be aware that your audition is in Mrs. Roberts room. Her classroom is across from the cafeteria door in the grade 8 hall. This announcement is for the songwriters in QMS Reads songwriting. Recording starts today after school. The Year End Dance is scheduled for Thursday, June 18th from 6:30 to 8 for all grades and then the grade 8s can stay until 8:30 as their final farewell. Can Tabs – This is the last week to bring in your can tabs and receive points. Please send your container to the office to be weighed. Yearbook: There are very few copies available for purchase, the online link is now closed. Students may bring $35 cash or cheque to the office to reserve a copy. Daily Affirmation – Nothing starts off easy PRIDE Passes – A grade 6 student showed Motivation by sharing strategies in Math class. A grade 7 student showed quality by helping the teacher on duty.
