A few notes for staff before we begin student announcements. -With the adjusted schedule it is EXTREMELY important that all teachers submit attendance at the very beginning of the class. This is especially important this week and also once we begin following the regular daily bell schedule. This week grade 6 is in the cafeteria. During the second half, all students are allowed to go in any of the areas but grade 6 is the only grade on the basketball court and in the gaga ball pit at lunch. Food is available for purchase through ONLINE ORDERS ONLY. Please have your families check the email from Mr. Nelson sent last week for more information. Grade 6 students: Your door for entering the building is down at the PORTABLE END. Please line up at 8:20 and after outside lunch recess to come into the building. The library is open at lunch for any students who would like a quiet place to read, do school related activities on the computers or work independently. Books can be signed out of the library soon. STAY TUNED. Sports: Morning Open Gym will begin next week on Monday morning. You must have indoor shoes with you to participate. Students will not be permitted to go to their lockers before morning Open Gym. Varsity Girls soccer tryouts will begin Thursday, September 10thafter school from 3:00 – 4:30. This tryout is for ALL girls wanting to play soccer. Varsity Boys Soccer will have their first tryout following the girls on Thursday from 4:30 – 6 pm. Sign-up sheets for both are posted outside of the gym so please add your first and last name if you plan on attending tryouts on Friday. Future tryouts will be on announcements next week. Cross Country Club will also begin soon, stay tuned for more information! Tech: The Tech Room is not yet open for lunch. Stay tuned.
