All students will need to bring a packed lunch from home next week. Cougar Pride Shout Out to the person who recently gave our property some beautification. We noticed that the area out by the road in front of the school sign has been cleaned up, new mulch was put down and a Cougar Pride sign was placed next to the bed. It looks great, thank you! Art: Calling all artists! This is your last chance to submit artwork for the June Talent Show! Please take your creative work to the art room during 2nd half of lunch this week to get it photographed by Mrs. Stoddart. Tech: Again this week, the computers in the Tech Lab are reserved for grade 8 students who need to finish their Tech assignments. The room is still open for others during the second half of lunch but computers are for grade 8 work only. Music: A big congrats to all members of Singing Club, Senior Band and Beginner Band on your fantastic performances on the elementary concert tour! It has been a great year of making music, but it is time to return all the things. If you have not yet brought your instrument or band shirt back, please do that ASAP. This is the last day for talent show auditions. If you did not get to audition yesterday, today is your day. Please be at the Music room by noon. This is also the last day for QMS Reads recording after school. Today’s focus is the instrumental players and any vocalists who missed Monday or Tuesday. Please be in the Music at the 2:40 bell and recording will begin. Would you like to be an announcer at the talent show? Please sign up outside of the Music room! Wellness: Athletics: Still looking for some Flag Football and Track jerseys, these must be returned by Friday. Other: Dance Tickets are now on sale. The Year End Dance is scheduled for Thursday, June 18th from 6:30 to 8 for all grades and then the grade 8s can stay until 8:30 as their final farewell. Can Tabs – This is the last week to bring in your can tabs and receive points. Please send your container to the office to be weighed. Yearbook: There are very few copies available for purchase, the online link is now closed. Students may bring $35 cash or cheque to the office to reserve a copy. This Friday will be a School Colours Day, final chance to earn points to win the Cougar Pride Trophy and the term 3 pizza party.
