Music: – the music room is closed at lunch today Athletics: Good luck to our Varsity Boys flag football team in their tournament this weekend. The boys play their first game this evening at 7pm. The track and field tryout has been postponed until Monday. All those who have signed up for jumping events, the tryouts will now take place on Monday after school in the gym. If you have not signed up and want to try a jumping event, please see Ms. Hannam. Softball – Next game is on Monday, May 25th at 6 o’clock against St Stephen at Centennial Field. Today at lunch there will be a celebration for all members of the varsity and JV basketball and volleyball teams in Ms. Hannam’s room. The following volleyball players still need to return your jersey to Ms. Hannam: JVG – Jaime, Rylin, Olivia, Izzy and Kaitlyn. JVB – Dalton, Jack, Ben, Josh, Ryan, and Lucas VB – Cole, Emmanuel, Jack, Lachlan, Connor, Levi, Eli, Lucas, Parker, and Karl VG – Amya, Devyn, Maria, Grace, and Nora. Student Volunteers Needed – Quispamsis Elementary School is hosting their 4th Annual Spring Fling on Friday May 29th. This will be a fun community event with games, face painting, balloon animals and more. They are looking for student volunteers to help run the games. Volunteers will be needed from 5:30-8:00 pm on May 29th. If anyone is interested in helping out, please email Julie.urquhart@nbed.nb.ca by Friday May 22nd. Volunteers will be provided supper (2 slices of pizza) when they arrive at 5:30pm.
