Announcements – Monday, December 1st Posted on December 1, 2025 Announcements for Monday, December 1st, 2025 Today is Day 5 Welcome to Term 2! Grade 6 changing to Art, grade 7 to Tech and grade 8 moving to Music. Term 1 report cards will be given out at the end of the day. Teachers should pass the reports to the teacher who will have their homeroom period 5. No early dismissal or movement necessary at the end of the day. Wellness: The Wellness Center will not be open today for lunch. Music: If you signed up for a talent show audition today, please wait patiently outside of the Music room until you are invited in. There are still some audition slots available for Wednesday. Art: The Art & Poster Club meets today after school until 4:00. You will be finishing up our oil pastel projects that were started last week. Be sure to have your way home organized ahead of time. The Art Room will be closed during 2nd half of lunch today. Sports: Basketball – In basketball action today, the JV Girls will begin their tryouts from 3 – 4:30. Please ensure you have signed up prior to attending. Tomorrow, the Varsity Boys will practice 3 – 4:30, followed by the JV Boys 4:30 – 6. Ski Club – If you have a confirmed seat, please give your signed paperwork to Mr. Nelson ASAP! Dodgeball Intramurals – At lunch today, The Dodgy Bunch plays the Misfits and the Dodgefathers take on the Brainy Ballers. Tomorrow, team Hit and Misses face the Ballistic Bombers and the Ball Blasters test their luck against the Underdogs. Other: Daily Affirmation – – If I fall, I will get back up again PRIDE Passes – A grade 6 student is motivated to achieve success, he always wants to do his best and works through, he doesn’t give up. A grade 8 student offered his support with the distribution of food to students. He showed quality behaviour and kindness. Holiday Turkey Dinner – The deadline to purchase tickets for the annual holiday turkey dinner is tomorrow! The cafeteria staff will once again be preparing a full turkey dinner, including dessert and milk, served on December 10th. The meal must be pre-ordered through Chartwells, the regular cafeteria ordering site before midnight Tuesday. Tickets are limited.
