Announcements – Monday October 26th Posted on October 27, 2026 QMS Morning Announcements Today is Day 3, October 26th 2026 You may have noticed the Harvest Moon this morning! Did you know — The Moon looks bright at night, but it makes zero light of its own. Instead, it acts like a giant space mirror that bounces light down from the Sun. It is called the Harvest Moon, because before electric farm lights existed, this extra night glow allowed farmers and field crews to keep harvesting summer crops well into the night This is WEEK 3 of our GHOST THE HURT CAMPAIGN. This week, we are focusing on ghosting homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia! Good morning, QMS Cougars! This week, we’re ghosting homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia by learning about bias. Bias happens when we make assumptions about people before getting to know them. For example, assuming a SOGI-diverse student should act, dress, or have interests a certain way is a form of bias. At QMS, we challenge assumptions and treat everyone with respect. Let’s Ghost Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia @ QMS! HALLOWEEN DANCE on THURSDAY 6:30 – 8:30!
