Classes will be called to the gym following lunch for a special ‘celebrate’ assembly featuring our Students of the month for April, the finals of the intramural volleyball tournament, and class games. Art: The Art Room is reserved during the 2nd half of lunch for Gr. 7 students working to finish up their name projects. Music: This is a reminder of Beginner Band after school today. We end at 4:15pm Attention Singing Club: Please bring your lunch to the Music Room at the beginning of lunch and we will start our travelling concert. Wellness: Grit Groups today: Grade 6 (except 6 McGrath) – Block 3 Grade 7 Plus 6 McGrath – Block 2 Athletics: There will be a brief meeting in Mme Wood’s room (103) today (Thursday) at 12:10 for players on the Girls’ Softball Team. Congratulations to the Varsity girls volleyball team on defeating RPS in straight sets! In volleyball action today, the JV Girls host MCS at 4pm. Score keepers are needed so if you can help out, please see Ms. Hannam. Following the JV Girls game, the Varsity Boys will practice. Looking ahead to Tuesday, the JV Boys play at SCA at 4pm. Good luck to all teams! Congratulations to Ace Chaser and Block Party for making to the intramural final this afternoon. Other: There will be a meeting today during the second part of lunch in Room 108 (Mr. Melanson’s Room) for the Grade 7 and Grade 8 students participating in this year’s UNB Math Competition. There will be a quick Heritage Fair meeting today during the second half of lunch in Mme. McLean’s portable in preparation for Regionals on Wednesday next week. Daily Affirmation – Today is the day PRIDE Passes – A grade 6 student was nominated for their participation and a grade 8 student cleaned up the classroom and is always helpful in class.
