Many thanks to the cafeteria staff who prepared the meal, delicious as usual! And many thanks to the classroom staff who helped seat, serve and clean up. The biggest thank you goes to the students who were so patient and polite, all staff commented on how many “thank yous” we received, your manners were on display front and center, much appreciated! Wellness: The Wellness Centre will only be open for select UBU students who are having a working lunch today. Music: A big congratulations to all members of the Singing Club, Beginner Band and Senior Band on your performances at KV High last night. Your hard work was definitely heard and you sounded great! A huge thank you to Mrs. Rattray for all her hard work and Mrs. Page for her beautiful piano playing and thank you to Quinn, Eleanor, Colwyn and Aria for helping to load the gear. If you auditioned for the talent show, please check in with Ms. Rattray during the first half of lunch. This will take 2 minutes. If you signed up to be a talent show announcer, you have a meeting during the second half of lunch on Monday. Art: Talent Show – Any students interested in having artwork displayed during the QMS Talent Show should head to the art room during 2nd half of lunch this week. Your creative work will be photographed and labelled for exhibit. Deadline for submissions is this Thursday. Sports: Basketball – JV Girls will practice Monday at 3. As a result of his achievement, he has earned $100! Daily Affirmation – It’s okay to make mistakes PRIDE Passes – A grade 7 student cleaned the class after a Science experiment and a grade 8 student voluntarily came in at lunch to work on a writing assignment.
