The Grade 8 ‘Graphic Design Group’ meets this afternoon. Please head to the Science Lab for the start of Period 4 this afternoon! Wellness: UBU meets today at lunch. All are welcome. Tech: Tech room will be CLOSED today. Students running in the hall to get there is the problem! Students going to the Tech Room have been warned many times to walk. Music: Beginner Band meets today after school until 4:15pm. Sports: The VB basketball team lost a very close game to HMMS yesterday. Great game by all team members! In basketball action today, the VG play at RPS for a 4pm game. At QMS the VB practice 4:30 – 6 followed by the JVB practice 6 – 7:30pm. Tomorrow, the grade 6 and 7 development team will practice right after school. This team is open to any boys and girls in grades 6 and 7. If you have questions please see Mr. Melanson. Following the development team practice, the JVG will practice 4:30 – 6. Intramurals: The 3 on 3 basketball tournament continues today. Round 1 – Nuggets vs Suns and Kings vs Lakers Round 2 – Warriors vs Jazz and Clippers vs Suns Referees – Cruz, Ethan, Bryant and Terry. Score Keepers – Eila, Leah, Stephanie and Olivia. Other: Show the Love for Staff Appreciation – Many thank to the parents who have supported our Show the Love Campaign to fund Staff Appreciation in February. Families can donate on Cashless Schools and for every $2 that is donated, the student will receive a paper heart on which they can write the name of a staff member who they would like to celebrate.
