Announcements – Thursday, June 11th Posted on June 12, 2026 Announcements for Thursday, June 11, 2026 Day 2 A safety note for those who travel on electric bikes and scooters on property, please SLOW DOWN! More importantly, you must always walk your scooter when on school property. It is very busy in the morning and after school and we do not want anyone getting hurt. Tomorrow is the last day for cafeteria service. All students will need to bring a packed lunch from home next week. Art: The Art room is closed today at lunch, Mrs. Stoddart is not here. If you would like to submit artwork for the June Talent Show, tomorrow is your last chance! Please take your creative work to the art room during 2nd half of lunch tomorrow to get it photographed by Mrs. Stoddart. Tech: Again this week, the computers in the Tech Lab are reserved for grade 8 students who need to finish their Tech assignments. The room is still open for others during the second half of lunch but computers are for grade 8 work only. Music: Thank you to everyone who auditioned for the talent show. You are IN! Please remember any gear or materials you need next Wednesday afternoon. To everyone who signed up to be an announcer during the Talent Show: Wow! Such an impressive number of you who would like to announce! The announcer list will be posted tomorrow. Senior band: Still looking for a few band shirts and instruments. Get them in before your name is singled out. Also for the Senior Band, if you did not get to sign the name sheets or did not finish, you can do that in the second half of noon hour today. Wellness: Mr. Stu is absent today and therefore; the Wellness Centre will be closed at lunch. Athletics: All jerseys, Flag Football, Track and Softball need to get them in by Friday. Other: Dance Tickets are now on sale. The Year End Dance is scheduled for Thursday, June 18th from 6:30 to 8 for all grades and then the grade 8s can stay until 8:30 as their final farewell. Can Tabs – Please send your container to the office today to be weighed. Yearbook: There are very few copies available for purchase, the online link is now closed. Students may bring $35 cash or cheque to the office to reserve a copy. Tomorrow is School Colours Day, final chance to earn points to win the Cougar Pride Trophy and the term 3 pizza party. Daily Affirmation – I can breathe and relax PRIDE Passes – A grade 8 student cleaned the class after lunch, a grade 7 student showed excellent focus and completed a long assignment in one class. Both are examples of Qulaity, Motivation and Success!
