We hope that everyone enjoyed reading the books. A reminder that the author, Susin Neilsen, will be joining us live this afternoon. We are still looking for questions from gr 7 and 8. If you have a question you would like to ask the author, about the novel, or writing in general, please speak with your homeroom teacher before leaving homeroom this morning. Bicycles: A reminder that bikes (e-bikes) are to be used only on the sidewalks and are to be walked while on property. Helmets must be worn. Wellness: Art: The Art & Tech rooms will both be closed at lunch today. Would all members of the Gr 8 Graphic Design group please meet in the main foyer during BREAK this morning. That’s the ‘QMS Reads’ Graphic Designers – please meet in front of the office during break this morning. Music: This is a reminder to the Songwriters to come to the Music room at the beginning of the noon hour so you can get set up for the assembly. There is Senior Band today after school. It ends at 4:30pm. Sports: Girls’ Softball – The first tryout for Girls’ Softball will be Friday after school from 3 until 4:30. The first offered to help the teacher prepare for a class activity, the second, was focused and worked hard during every class. A very strong, independent worker.
